Parallels or VMware? Which one?

    Which is faster? Can Parallels emulate direct X9? just wanna play red alert 2 on that :)

    i tried both and found that vm ware was faster with windows xp and i managed to run one of the lord of the rings games on it fine on my macbook =o

    Umm the strategy one, the first one they made, i forgot the name of it now, but it seemed to work ok as i remeber

    So then Parallels WILL play Command and Conquer. Also support Directx9? :confused:


    Just wanna be sure.

    Why not just use BootCamp and run it direct and not through either one if you are gaming.
    The performance will be better and there will be no issues.

    I didnt try it on parallels only vm ware, sory didnt make that clear, but yeah others have suggested just using bootcamp
