So I bought Parallels 6, which so far looks amazing. I am still in the process of installing Windows 7, but I had a couple of questions. I currently have Windows 7 installed, or installing so far, on my 1TB internal drive. Can I move it over later to my SSD drive which I will use as my OS startup drive, or does it have to stay on the 1TB drive? What I mean is I want to boot my iMac via the SSD, and also have the option to open Parallels when booted via my SSD. Is it as simple as going into my 1TB drive, and opening up Parallels, when in my SSD?

Also, do I have to install a anti-virus in Windows 7?

I haven't tried moving virtual machines between drives, but it should work.

Yes, you do need some sort of AV product to protect your Windows installation. I use Microsoft Security Essentials...its good enough since I don't spend a lot of time in Windows, and it's free.
