Question: To make Vista and OS X share Quicken files: load Parallels (~ $80), Vista (~$125), and Quicken for Windows (~$60) on the iMac. Yes?
iMac has 1 GB memory - that a problem?
I help my neighbours who are changing from pc to a new iMac. They've used Windows Quicken and their bookeeper takes files home to work on her home pc, runninng Vista. They are not Mac savvy...for that mattter barely computer literate - solution must be easy to use.
    Other solutions?

    Vista + Parallels = Nono.

    The equation should be:

XP + Parallels OR Vista + Boot Camp.

    Parallels and Vista

Thanks! Surprized - the newest Parallels info at Apple specifically mentions Vista. Doesn't work because...?
Boot Camp not a hassle for computer maladroits?

It works, but not very well. Vista works best on Boot Camp.

Vista works fine in parallels. You just don't get Aero.

It runs pretty bad though. I tried it and I was better off with XP.
