Parallels Tools 5 ; Ubuntu 10.04 guest

Hi, is anyone able to install Parallels Tools in the Ubuntu 10.04 guest? When I run the installer I get an error and the install will not complete. The error says to check a "log" file. I read online PTools was not supported in 10.04; this was in May of this year. Is this still the case?
