I downloaded the Mandriva iso file( the disk image). Now, if i want to emulate Mandriva from that disk image is it possible, or would i have to make another partition?

You can't run from the .iso, but you can use it to install onto a Parallels or Fusion virtual disk image, thereby removing the need for another partition. Both apps will walk you through the process if you run their 'New VM' wizards.

Ok, ive installed Mandriva, and can get to the bootloader screen, however, when i choose that option, it just stays at the loading screen, with the Mandriva logo and word and doesnt load anymore..

Has anyone encountered this?
