Parking reminder?

i have the toggle set up to on. What other features do I need to mess with in settings to make it work? I pair my car via Bluetooth to stream and it doesn't remember where I park.

Anyone know how to make it work? Thank you.
 
It seems mine will only remind me when I'm in new locations. For example, it won't remind me on the lock screen when my car is at work, home, etc. Which makes sense to me.

If I ask Siri (Hey Siri where's my car) it will will show me where it is in the maps app regardless of where I am, home, work, etc.

I'm using an aftermarket Pioneer head unit too which I'm very happy to report it works well with.

Do you have frequent locations turned on?
 
As someone else stated it doesn't seem to tell me about places in my contacts (such as home) when I'm there. It will tell me cars at home when I'm elsewhere.
Definitely, needs some updating and tweaking to me.
 
Mine will not show parked car when I'm home in the widget. I do see it however on the map if I zoom in. I only see the car notice when I'm away from home. Maybe it assumes I know where my car is when I'm home. I do but would like to see it just for consistency.

[doublepost=1475387527][/doublepost]I fixed it by saying to siri when i park the car something like "siri. Remember where this car is parked"
Then later. "Siri , where is my car parked ?" In my case she gives me street and number outside of which the car is parked.
 
The feature has not been working for me anywhere, but I do not have Frequent Locations enabled. I just enabled it... so we'll see.
 
It shows my car parked at my house and I didn't have to turn anything on. Just paired my phone on Bluetooth. At first I didn't know why my car was showing on maps until I found an article about it.
