I would like to,purchase a new iPad Pro in-store but is it possible to pay half cash and finance the rest over twelve months?

There is no possibility AFAIK.

Why don't you save the money first, and if you can afford it, buy it.

If you have not the money, there are much cheaper options (Windows Tablet, Android Tablet, Non-Pro iPad, refurbished iPad Pro, Used iPad Pro...)

Live within your means and only buy things you can afford? You shouldn't be having to finance something as insignificant as an iPad. A car, fine. But an iPad? Re-think that decision.

NAILED IT!

I agree with others, for the most part. However, I think it can be smart to take advantage of 0% financing offers at times. Financing doesn’t always mean you can’t afford something.

Finance is not worth it. Not for an iPad, not even for a car. Only for a house as that's actually an investment.

Save up, and the advantage will be that if it takes a few months or even a year you'll get newer models when they come out and you'll be glad you did.

If you have half the amount, that's a great start. You could keep saving and then on Black Friday or something go for a special offer, might be sooner than you think.

Avoid finance like the plague!

Get a credit card with 0% on purchases for 12 months. Purchase it outright then pay the monthly installments off to the card company at your convenience.

You can get 12 months no interest on a Best Buy credit card, it's not that bad, might even save money on the iPad and its so small of a purchase can easily pay for it in a few months. Actually finance the whole thing then make your first payment half of it, the money that you already have saved then just pay it off in a few months. Easy
