I'm looking to replace my current ageing dell laptop, and as I now have an imac, will buy a macbook or air.
I've heard about migration assistant for moving data from an old mac to a new mac, but can it also handle partial migrations?
eg I'd want my email settings, internet bookmarks and probably my itunes collection and some other bits and bobs - sort of creating a 'mirror' of the settings, but I don't need all the data on both machines at once.
