Partially Back ordered?

I just purchased my Macbook on Tuesday through my schools website because it was even cheaper that way but on the status it says that is partially back ordered. Does anyone know what this partially means? Also perhaps how long it would take. Thanks

It just means it is backordered it could take a day or two months you cant know until it isnt backordered

I ordered through my schools store (Miami Ohio) so yes it would be US.
