Partition Magic alternative?

Looking for an application that will allow me to take a single drive and divide it into two partitions without having to reinstall OS X or loose my data.

Any recommendations?

Drive Genius isn't working... I imagine I need to be running it outside of OS X but how?

You can't repartion the boot drive. You will have to boot from an external.

Can I make a boot cd somehow? Otherwise I have a USB drive... instructions please 🙂.

Well this is starting to irritate me now. I can't find a program to create a bootable media with Drive Genius on it. DasBoot looks ok but I have no idea what to select for "Source" and "Destination" is empty.
