Hey I just bought a new hard drive and I put 100GB aside to run Windows XP.

Bootcamp Assistant wont let me fiddle with the drive, since I've partitioned it using Disk Utility.

Is there some sort of issue with just telling windows to use the 100GB partition? Can I just have the XP installer choose that partition? Is it going to hose my data/bootability on the rest of the hard drive?

Unfortunately, I already have OS X on the rest of the HD so it would be an incredible hassle to try and change things now.

    Any help would be appreciated.
