    Hey everyone!

I just got a new backup drive from the lovely OWC and it's great. I do have a small issue. I'm looking to make half of the drive for use of all of my pictures/ videos I shoot for clients. Then I want to make another partition on that same drive to clone or "backup" the first partition. I already use another drive to Time Machine backup my laptop's internal drive. So I don't think I'm looking to "Time Machine" my second partition. Does anyone know how in disk utility or through some third-party program to do this? Any help towards a solution would be great. :)

    Cheers!

After you partition and format the drive using Disk Utility, you can use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup one partition to the other.

Awesome! I got that software from OWC but wasn't sure what it would do/if it would help me. Thanks for the help!
