partitioning TiBook soon, need some advice...

ok, thanks!😀 i'm all backed up now, i think. lets see, i've got my IE favourites & keychain backed up, all ready to go!! Yipee!!😀😀

if i backup the Mail mailboxes, will it work with 10.2?

ok, i'm all partitioned now & got 10.2 installed. only things i forgot were my IE favourites and my Warcraft 3 saved games... doh!🙄

whoops! i forgot where i put the CD i had them backed up on. i just found it today, but now i don't know where to put it to get my favourites back on 10.2?!😱 i've looked in application support & prefrences, but i can't find anything like the IE folder that i got the favourites from in 10.1.

anyone know where i can put the document favourites.html to get my prefs back?😕

I partitioned my key Lime iBook's HD

I partitioned my hard drive, the problem is that my drive is only 10GB, I made a big mistake! I gave 4.5 gigs for OS 9 (BIG MISTAKE!!!) and 4.5 for OS X (I should have gave my OS X partition more! Well if you have a big enough hard drive it's a good idea, but for a small one, forgetaboutit!!! I have no more HD space so I'm gonna buy a 40GB drive, then I can be smarter about partitioning my hard drive. 🙂 😉 😀 MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE!

yeah, you gotta be careful. who knows, i might have another go at partitioning at the end of the year.
