Hi all,

Been reading about Polaris and Pascal, both of which are exciting for us classic Mac pro owners as in part they'll offer better performance/watt and therefore hopefully some lower TDP cards we could use, in theory.

Obviously Polaris is an issue since we rely on Apple to provide drivers (apparently Fiji might just work if we alter a kernel extension, unfortunately I don't currently have one to hand, but might be able to borrow one soon).

Pascal though has the possibility to be included in OS X Web Drivers that Nvidia publish. There are a few sites reporting Pascal Device IDs are already on the Windows drivers, I wonder if anyone had looked in the OS X drivers? I did email Nvidia on the matter, but I'm not expecting a response any time soon 😛
