Passcode Required to unlock Face ID more frequently

I didn't experience this on my iPhone 13 PM running iOS 16

I have a 14 PM and noticed that every several minutes, after setting my phone down and picking it back up, I'm required to enter my passcode to unlock Face ID.

This kind of defeats the purpose.. It happens intermittently, as if my device restarted and I have to enter in the passcode, but that's not the case.

Ironically on my xs max I notice it is asking for the passcode much less frequently. The interesting things about owning an iphone lol.

Since iOS 16 my Face ID on my 13 Pro Max hasn’t worked…ugh!
