So i'm trying to help out a mate. He jailbroke his iPod but accidently updated to 1.1.2. This wouldn't normally be an issue, but hee had it passcoded, so no computers will mount it as it says it requires this code.

Now on the ipod screen it shows the passcode screen but it's completely unresponsive and every ten seconds resets (back to the unresponsive passcode screen!)

There seems very little I can do, should i tell him it's bricked? :p
