As an orthodox Jew, I will be unable to pre-order the Apple watch due to it being Passover from Thursday night through Saturday night. I'm hoping that there are still units available for pre-order on Saturday night, but I'm doubtful being as I want the sport which will probably sell out quickest.

Is anyone else in the same boat as me? I'm really hoping I can still get the watch on launch day.

You must have some goyisha friends who can do the pre-order for you.

I'd feel bad asking someone to stay up until 3 am and deal with the probable crashing servers while I'm out of communication. If I knew someone getting one for themselves I might ask them to get another but no one I know seems that interested in the watch.

maybe some Tzedakah money might change there minds :)

I feel like being Orthodox Jewish and being an Apple Watch user is not a good combination. You can't wear it on Yom Tov or Shabbat, for one thing...

It would be a weekday watch for me. My wife bought me a nice "dumb" watch that I wear on Shabbat and Yom Tov.

Do you have a CC concierge service?

Interesting. I did not know that CC concierge would purchase something for you.

AMEX will, for sure. Used them before. Never for Apple preorders, though.

I really doubt these are going to sell out day one. The only one that would be a danger though would be the sport space grey.

And that's the one I want. Sport space gay, black band 42 mm. I feel I like it will sell out quick.
