So interesting thing - I have not yet been able to log into my MobileMe account at Me.com (shocker, I know) though everything else has been working fairly smoothly. I recently tried changing my password to see if that fixed anything (it did not), but when I succeeded in changing the password, the confirmation page said this:
"Your Apple ID password has been changed.

Select the "continue" button below to return to Apple Store Japan or choose from the list at right."

Apple Store Japan? Where the hell is that coming from? I'm in New York...

I can't get in either; but maybe we don't want to.

I got the same screen.

I've had a .mac account for one year now, never found it useful for anything but iSync. I logged into my .mac account last week to make I could log in and to prepare for the iPhone 2.0 software upgrade. No problems logging in with my AppleID and password.

Since Friday, when I try to log into me.com atthe login screen it takes me to a page that says it can't find the page the page I'm looking for. I'm not looking for a page, I'm logging in. If there's a problem with me logging in it should say there's a problem logging in, not it can't find the page I'm looking for.

I figured I'd reset my password, actually I did it twice, once by answering the security questions the second time by having Apple email me the link to reset the password. After that attempt I got the "...returning you to the Apple store Japan."

It seems like Apple really has lowered the bar on their product.

There are people on this forum talking about problems with syncing and calendars, etc. on mobileme. So apparently some people are able to get in. So I don't have much expectation for the product once I do get in.
