Hi, I just purchased a new 20" Mac and found that it had 10.4 installed and a Leopard Disk to upgrade. I Set up the Mac on the 10.4 system, installed Leopard. When system came up I put in my password, system went to blue screen and came back to password promp. I rebooted off the Leopard disk, did the utility of checking permissions, repaired the HD but still have the same problem.

Anyone out there had that problem and resolved. Pleaes Help

Boot from your install disk, repair disk permissions and the disk itself for the hard drive in question. Should fix everything up.

Password Ditto

We have 3 iMacs and just loaded MAC OSX 5!
On 2 machines our passwords are not recognized.
I downloaded a Core Audio Driver but when prompted to 'restart' program refused my password.
Our business is severely affected.
I've googled and found a wad of similar probs. I now regret buying Leopard; please change my mind:confused::confused:
