Does anybody know of one? Lockdown does not work, it keeps sending it in safemode...

I also want to see if there is another app that does this or if Lockdown will be updated go fix the error on the iPad. It's an essential app to me.

Chronicle, a journal writing software is password protected. Seems to work fine.

Is this a not-free app? Seems like they want me to pay... Just curious.

It isn't no. A shame they are so greedy $5 no problem but $15 no chance. There are instructions on how to get it free out there, no idea if it they work as I've not tried it. I am still looking for an alternate app.

I agree... I don't mind compensating someone for their efforts, but even $5 would be steep I think. $15 is crazy

Too bad as it works pretty well.

I rather have my girlfriend dip into my emails and find old convos of me and my Ex girlfriend than to pay 15$ for a cydia lock app.

I have tried madvlock and lockdown, neither work on my iPad. Are there any alternatives?

That's weird, madvlock works fine on my JB iPad (except it doesn't see contacts for some reason). Although, I do prefer iProtect on my iPhone.
