Okay, so after waiting a few hours for the 2.0 update yesterday I decided to install the update manually using the link that was posted here a couple of days ago.

Whenever I type in a password, doesn't seem to matter what app i'm using.... the most recent character of the password is not hidden, it just shows up as it is... when i type the second character the first one becomes hidden.

Is this normal behaviour? I didn't do it with the older firmware.... the file i downloaded was called: iPod1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw and from what I've read seems to be the official release.

I noticed that too. Must be a 'feature' of the new firmware. Not sure why they did this, as you can watch the letter that pops up on the keyboard (as you type) to verify you've hit the right key. Accomplishes the same thing, but the new way is a little easier to see, I guess.
