Can you give a bit more info about what has happened?
Did she try to log in and use the wrong password that took here there?
This should work if it's the case. There are other things to try.
Erratic cursor? Is it possible she's got some malware somehow?

She denied trying to type in my password.
The issue has however been resolved. Obviously she had been trying to do that and some other things. All I did was leave the MacBook off and plugged in since my post. Switched it one some minutes ago and even though it still went to the password reset screen, the cursor was now fully responsive unlike before. I simply clicked on restart, the MacBook rebooted and the issue was resolved. ?????
Thanks for your help.
