Password request when computer powered on

I had to change my password for the admin account on my computer by inserting a start up disk because the password was lost. Now every time I power on, the password is requested before OS X loads up. Is there a way to turn this feature off? I have messed around with system preferences and found nothing. Any help is appreciated.

System Preferences > Accounts > Login Options > Automatic Login > Currently Disabled

That's why it is asking for a password..

Click the padlock at the bottom and select the user name in automatic login drop-down and you should then log-in automatically.
