Passwords gone with Safari 5!

upgraded to Safari 5 and auto fill no longer works, passwords are mostly
forgotten. Used Help and there was nothing to help this issue.
To go back and try to remember passwords, account numbers etc
is horrible and so far I see no advantages to this new version.
This is the unintended consequence of a new version of software even with Apple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😕

have you looked in your keychain for the info?
my HD crashed and burned on me and when I got the new HD, it was tedious but very easy to get the passwords and such for various websites and programs by using the "forgot..." on websites and emailing.
the keychain can be very fickle at times but a great investment is 1Password.
