Paste something you already copied over

I had some text copied, and I accidentally copied something else over it. Is there any way to paste the original thing I copied, or is it lost forever. Can I undo the last copy somehow?

Unless you had a special program which saves each successive copy, you will have lost what you had copied earlier. Sorry.

I usually copy content to a text file if it is that important.

As daze said, no way to get it back now. You may want to look into iClip though

Essentially it remembers things you put in the clipboard so you can just go back and get something different if you want it. I don't have it so I'm not sure what the difference between the trial and full are but, yeah, it sounds like something you should look into.

I hadn't heard of that, may look into it myself if it's free though. I only knew of iClip because of a youtube video mentioning it the other day.
