Patch of dots on iPhone 5s

Has any ever seen this on their iPhone screen? It's a splotch of many purple/red pixels. I thought it was the screen protector, but when I took it off, they were still there. There are more throughout the screen, but this is the biggest patch of them.

I'd try resetting your phone, maybe a restore, but I'm betting you'll need to have your phone replaced.

As a follow up. Apple said the display was failing and replaced the phone on the spot. I was there for less than 10 minutes.
