Ok. I am officially jealous. I’ve tuned out the anniversary stuff. I truly couldn’t care less. Until now. That is spectacular.

Yeah, me too. I did see Paul play live many years ago, and it was wonderful—but I was up in the nosebleed section.

I saw him in 2015. He had some amazing energy, and didn't really take any breaks. Seats were decent.

Surprisingly, for me anyway, the audience was pretty multi-generational and wasn't dominated by any particular age group.

McCartney charges around $1-2 million for a corporate concert, at least according to some of the booking agencies I checked with.
Considering he'd get way way more from a single concert, that price for corporate concerts weirdly feels cheap.

Wow. I really hope Apple releases this concert. Ideally on CD (and Blu-Ray for the video), but a purchase from the iTunes Store will also be acceptable.

I don't know. Paul always came off as a snob to me and I thought the music, especially Wings-era was so hokey. The final straw for me was that Ozzy Osbourne was Paul and the Beatles BIGGEST fan in the world. There's a clip of Ozzy meeting Paul and Ozzy stood there like a shocked child meeting his hero. Arguably one of the biggest names in the world that starstruck by Paul....and when Ozzy passed away, Paul didn't say a SINGLE thing. Names from jazz, rock, hip hop, etc...every genre and artist you'd never even guess all mentioned something about him. And not a single thing from Paul, Ozzy's biggest hero. That said everything I needed to know about Paul McCartney. That's low class as can be.

If you enjoyed the concert, all the more power to you. For me, I don't think anything was missed if you didn't make it.

He most certainly did honor Ozzie's death. Look it up.

Which speaks to the enduring quality of his music — one of the best songwriters of all time, and a genuinely great musician too. You just don’t see so much of that in pop music these days.

(Yes kids, I may sound like a grumpy old man, but most of your modern music really does suck. 😉)

Where is it that Paul said it? It’s an AI voiced video. It’s possible somehow I missed it but I don’t see or hear anything from Paul himself.
Sharon Osbourne was one of Paul's guests at his Saturday night show this past weekend at the Fonda theater in L.A. which was a small venue. There were quite a few celebrities there (google the list), but the fact that she was there is somewhat telling.
