Is there any way to pause an App Store update? Internet connections in Egypt are rather slow and it takes around 1 hour to perform a 1.66GB update, and sometimes I need the bandwidth in other things while I am updating but I cannot for the life of me find a pause button. If I cancel the update, does it resume when I fire it up again or does it start from the beginning? I have tried with 36.7MB downloaded and apparently it resumed the progress but I am not quite sure.

I think it does resume, and I think if you tap on the item installing, and it doesn't go to paused, tap it again. Just tested it on ios10 on my phone. if i tap it again, it continues, might skip back a tiny bit, but it tries to resume.
