I've only recently added a subway card to my wallet and wondered (as not had an opportunity to try yet) does iOS9 pull in the subway cars as part of paying with pay or do I still scan it separately?

You will still need to scan the subway card separately, well that's at least the case here in the UK.

To my knowledge, its not a feature anywhere at the moment.

I would imagine it would take some pretty advanced leg work for iOS10 to work. Although, a potential effective solution would be for Apple to allow to select multiple cards before scanning. That way, it would lift all development requirements away from the merchant/terminals and onto the end user. Not exactly, flash, but a simple, effective way of dual-scanning.

Two thoughts here. One, you can double click the home button to open the new Wallet app while the screen is locked. This gives you access to your rewards cards (at the bottom) and apple pay on one screen without unlocking your device. So, not too bad really. Two, the purpose of wallet is supposed to be the integration of rewards cards and credit/debit cards in a single transaction. We should also have integration of gift cards too. In one payment, the reward data should be integrated.

Not sure when, but they are aware of the need. Hope to be sooner than later. More and more I am tired of carrying around a wallet, especially one with rewards cards in it. Why can't stores just reward everyone that shops without having to have a card. ( I know, so they can track your purchases and target advertising) I can hardly stand needing a card just to get the savings when the card is free to get.

They mentioned this feature I'm asking about when they showed iOS 9 off to world so iOS 10 won't be needed to make this happen it would seem

for reference: http://9to5mac.com/2015/06/10/apple-pay-rewards-wholefoods-rollout/ this was what I was referring to but yeh reading on it will happen with iOS9 but on a smal scale at first in US
