Pay as you go. Works with 3G?

Just wondering if I Unlock my iPhone 3G and transfer my SIM card from my old cell phone and put it in my iPhone if I can get Webacress from 3G. But keep in mind that the SIM card is activated under a pay-as-you-go plan, Which I add minutes every month.

Yes, but you will get charged ridiculous amounts for the data unless you buy some kind of bolt on. I pay £7.50 a month with O2 for unlimited web.
