Pay for iTunes Match?

Can you pay for iTunes Match with iTunes Store credit (gift cards) or do you have to have a debit/credit card? Many thanks.

The answer is yes.
I had a $12 balance and it was used (the rest was billed on my credit card) when I subscribed to Match.

Yes Apple will charge your iTunes credits first but it requires you to have a US credit card on file (actually a US prepaid card will do the trick as well) 😉
