is it possible to pay cash for iphone 4? i have it reserved. im just wondering because i dont have a credit card but im using graduation money to buy it.

No, you will need to use a debit or credit card.
Edit: this is for AT&T and apple. Not really sure about the other chains.

I'm not sure about reservations. I bought my 32GB iPhone 3GS last year with cash at the AT&T store. It wasn't on launch day though...
If you really really want to pay cash then fill up a pre-paid credit card and use that.
Best bet is to call the store chain and see what their policy is as each one is different... Even right down to the store itself

The Apple Store in my town wouldn't let me.
They only accept credit/debit. I tried paying with cash when I bought the 3GS last year and they they didn't take it. But I just ended up giving my Dad the money and he used his card. I wonder why they don't let you pay with cash?😕

I bought the 2g with cash, the 3g with a gift card bought with cash, the 3gS with a paypal debit card, and the iPad with more cash. I think it's all fine as long as you treat the Apple people nicely.
If its at an Apple Store they def wont accept cash. Your best bet is to get a pre-paid debit card. I used one last year and the year before that. Im gonna use the same one thursday
They let that woman buy that iPad with cash, so I don't see why they wouldn't let you get an iPhone. They just changed the policy for iPad so I'm sure it was a store-wide change. I'm not sure though.
