Yes, avoid using PayPal if possible, cancel their cancel culture!Paypal still planning to fine people for independent thought it doesn’t like?
They have a credit product (though I had thought there was an actual card - it seems not):Do PayPal credit cards exist outside the US?
PayPal has a similar option for paying in installments where I live, but I’m pretty certain that’s different from a credit card that can be connected to Apple Pay.They have a credit product (though I had thought there was an actual card - it seems not):

I believe this has more to do with Synchrony, the bank behind PayPal and a lot of other companies’ credit/debit cards. Non of the other cards I had on synchrony supported Apple Pay either.Jesus Christ, talk about long overdue. Who even cares at this point anymore?
I had a PayPal credit card, many moons ago. It was back when Apple Pay was first introduced - this had to be what, 2015?? - that the PayPal credit card was basically the only credit card that could NOT be used with Apple Pay. No real reason, other than you just couldn’t add the credit card to Apple Pay. I don’t even think there was another credit card on the market at the time with a similar problem.
Even back then they said they would be supporting Apple Pay soon. I stopped waiting, I got an Amex, and thus I stopped using their card.
This really took an entire decade for them. Bravo.
Top category likely means the category you spent the most money in.Can you choose your category or do they assign it?
Yeah, that sounds like the bank the card was through, from what I remember back then. Shame on Synchrony then. I mean, for the simple ability to add a credit card to a digital wallet it is already really, really late in the game.I believe this has more to do with Synchrony, the bank behind PayPal and a lot of other companies’ credit/debit cards. Non of the other cards I had on synchrony supported Apple Pay either.
It's just based on what you spend the most on! You don't need to pre-select it, and they don't choose it for you. Very handy. Can you choose your category or do they assign it?
The PayPal card has been addable for a while for me as well. I got a notice in the PayPal app a few weeks ago and added it. The Venmo card is probably a more recent addition.I got a PayPal World MasterCard a couple of months ago and added it right into my wallet for Apple Pay like immediately. I wonder if this has been quietly available for longer than just this week?
Most non-Amazon online stores I’ve visited take PayPal. The PayPal credit card gives you back 3% anytime you pay with PayPal, which is pretty decent imo.Since eBay separated from PayPal, I hardly ever use it anymore..i don't even know who takes it.
