The spilt the bill is fine if Paypal would wave the fees. I really do not see this as a logical solution when one person pays the bill and request money from the rest of the party. The person collecting from the rest will get hit with a paypal transaction fee if the others are not sending money from a credit card attached to paypal instead of a balance.

In the version before this, there used to be a paypal log out of account button. I can't find it in this one and based on what I have read, there is none in this version. Am I correct? Thank You.

I wish the start screen would be the account summary. I use the app primarily to check my balance and recent transactions. The animation at the start is annoying as well.

I know this is bit off topic but why don't you give mobileWallet a try?

It will do exactly the same as the bump feature of PayPal without actually bumping your iPhones.

Also in regards to security you only need to give your pin code whenever you try to transfer/withdraw something, not when receiving it, so basically it eliminates the security hole of your device going to sleep.

And best of all, the transaction costs are really low (fixed price of 10 cents/transaction) which is ideal for micro payments! ;)

On the prior app, I was able to send money through my bank account (then my credit card as a backup just as online).

But on this app, it wants to send money through the credit card and for a fee.

I don't normally carry a paypal balance.

Do you guys know if this is "part of the update".

i welcome the revamp cause the old one sucked but is it too much to ask to support full payment details? I still gotta sign into the website to see what items people ordered from my store cause the details still arent available in the app. atleast they finally started listing them in the email.
