Does anyone here know how long it takes for the PayPal payments to clear? I sold my iMac and the buyer sent payment, but someone told me to wait seven days for his payment to clear. Does this sound right?

I think it's ok as soon as it enters your account.
If the buyer buys with creditcard then you should beware of potential mallice (creditcard company can reclaim $ if asked by card owner, paypal lacks good protection from this), but I think it'll be ok 🙂

Thanks. I couldn't tell if he used a credit card or what. It only says payment has been recieved. I transfered it to my bank account, and that will take 3-4 days. When that is complete, I will ship it. Thanks.
