the right arrow key on my power book (also the "end" key) won't let me scroll to the right anymore. Here's what's odd, though. It works for things like when you hold down the shift and use it to highlight, or control and hit it to skip to the end of the line, option and hit it to skip words, etc. So why won't hitting it by itself make it move forward one letter?

sounds weird. how old is your PB?

are you sure that you're pressing it properly? maybe it's that because of alot of use, that key needs a bit of a harder press to work properly? one of my keys i have to press a bit harder than i used to. when using it with shift, i usually don't have enough pressure on it.

you could look up Apple's KnowlegeBase, but i don't think there are any known issues with PB keyboards.

haha

Long story short, my girlfriend used the computer and made the right arrow key speak highlighted text, that's why it didn't work by itself. Thanks for the help, though.
