You guys think theres any truth/possibility in the updated Bluetooth perhiphals. I just placed an order for the Bluetooth mouse and keyborad and I would be choked if they are updated at WWDC. I mean they have been out for a while now right?

Possible. The kb/mouse and iPods are the only thing that aren't way out in left field, but considering the other BS they posted, I wouldn't trust them at all. Just saying they're the only "maybes" in the entire group

The worst one I think is the OS X 10.6. I don't think Apple would skip a number....would they?

Nah... that one is one of the integrity killers. And the reasoning behind it is terrible.

LOL!

Ya right, PB G5.. apple is gona almost double it's size...i think not. also.. put a grill to allow air? HA! i can only imagine what that'd look like.

What's covered in it:

- Upcoming Powerbook G5. Was supposed to be at WWDC, but not ready.
I think we'll see PowerBook G5s at this upcoming WWDC. They'll be announced, but won't ship until August. All models will feature 1.6Ghz G5s across the board.

Coloured cases would be nice, but have been rumord since the day Apple whent white and silver. I would expect black cases, but that might be more hope. Paraphrase-"G5 PB wasn't ready...." Heck, if it isn't there it isn't ready.

All in all, I like rumors, but they don't do much for me. What is interisting is that we are quickly heading to OS11, we are half way there.

I am just humored with the whole "1.64 GHz" PowerBook located more than once in that. Can't they get their facts straight, 1.67 . Also, MacWorld Paris isn't excatly "in time for back to school". My school starts in August, others may wait until September, but a release at a conference in September will not mean the product would be ready to ship. Therefore, making it out of the ranks for any sort of "back to school" quality.

The next question, then, is why? Does anyone know anything about macshrine? Wouldn't posting a story like this destroy any credibility that they may have had before?

I haven't checked this morning, but as of last night, there wasn't even a mention of the story on their own forums...?

Weird.

It's called a joke, apparently.

And since when did Mac rumor sites have "credibility"? ;)

I agree on the rubbish but coloured iBooks would be nice. Anyone remember the patent Apple took on using fibre optics to change the colour of a case? Now that would be cool. Can't see it ever happening more's the pity.

God I am finally getting the feelings that I knew I would...the bitter pain of jealousy! When new iBooks come out I will feel so old with my current one ! :(

I see no reason to dismiss this out of hand. They do say that due to problems the G5 PowerBook won't be announced. The lion is the king of the jungle, so very appropriate to be used for the last of the Mac OS X versions. I'm willing to wait and see what unfolds.

I am interested to see where portables go from here. No real breakthroughs. Speedbumps have been far too common, but acceptable. The Tibook to Alum line was a significant transition.

Wonder where we're headed. I personally don't know how i feel about colored ibooks. Might be cool, as long as they dont' look like leftover casings from iMac G3's. Portable translucents? Eek.

Well, ThinkSecret and Apple Insider are pretty darn close to being credible.
