What solution do you recommend for a PC monitor with PC drivers on a Mac?
You mean it's not plug-and-play?
it works it has the right connections but it seems the drivers are keeping me from having complete control and to be able to know how diff combinations of buttons create a differant menu.
Hmm. I can't help you out. Sorry.
Did you check the manufacturer's site for mac drivers?
yes i did check for Drivers. It states it is PC only. If only the sales rep would have mentioned that when i told him i bought a Mac to use with it. It was a New Dell 30" It is the most elegant albeit not Mac display i have laid eyes on. It is their newest... http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=223-4890
I need to color calibrate it with my spyder 2pro
Mac OS X has a built-in color calibration tool. It can be found in the Display preferences in your System Preferences.
Thanks for the tip on the color calibrator but i use this for photography and it needs to be exact.
I talked to a tech at Dell and they said i should contact someone at apple to see if there is a program or something that will let you use a .exe file from my Driver disc...then i will have all the options the monitor provides at my disposal.
