I have no ideaDon't the early models only allow recovery via the super drive?
I have no idea
I let my friend take a look at my Mac and he said the USB drive (recovery) doesnt have anything on it. Are you able to see those files like you can on a PC? I guess that could be the reason its not giving me the option to boot from USB?
I ordered the USB from E-Bay that was linked in the 1st page. Guess Ill contact seller and say what they say
Yea I understand fully what your saying. The only reason I went ahead and bought off E-Bay is cause the guy/place has a 99% positive feedback rating. Im just going to try and take it to an Apple store in a near-by mall.Be aware that on eBay they sell USB sticks that looks-a-like that recovery/instalation USB disc that guys here are referring to. If you got the one from the first page, sellers says it has 10.6.4 on it, but I do not believe these are genuine Apple ones.

I have 2 disc's that came with the MBA, but since it has no disc drive I have no idea how to use them. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to figure out.
Yea, I just purchased a optic drive off Amazon. So once that comes in Ill post up whats going on. Thanks for the help so far!If you can get a hold of any external USB DVD drive (I've seen them as low as $35), you can plug it into the USB port of the MacBook Air, and then boot from the disc (holding down the Option key) to get into the installation screen.
Record like me trying boot from the USB? I can do that, but there isnt much to show lol I took a couple picsPerhpas you can record everything and show it to us? I do this everytime I have an issue.
