Hi there: Sorry if the answer to this is on the boards already, I tried to find some info but could not. I have a Seagate FreeAgent Go USB 2.0 160 GB external HD. I formatted it with my SR 2.4 ghz Macbook Pro because I will be working primarily with large Mac files. I do however have some music on my old PC that I would like to transfer to my external HD. When I plugged the external HD into my PC it wouldnt recognize it. Is there a way I can get my itunes folder off that machine onto the external drive?
im pretty sure there are mac programs that allow you to read/write on a windows formatted drive, soyou could do it that way. or if you have an ipod or know someone who has an ipod you could use that, or do it with a forewire/usb/wireless over the network.
if it's not that much info just use an usb stick/ iPod to transfer the data. You can also install Mac Drive 6 on your PC. http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive6/
