Not as a monitor per se, but you could use Remote Desktop or VNC to display what's on your PC from your MacBook.

The only separate monitor is inside my mom's room now.
And she won't want that in her room.

I have pretty decent video card in my pc for gaming. 😉 (256 radeon 9550)
