OS!

... No troubles in a Mac setup.
...

LOL - Don't support a myth by repeating a marketing lie.

There are plenty of issues. Whether, it is more than a pc or not, I don't know. But, believe me, there are plenty of issues with a mac.

I would say, if you are use to a PC stick with the PC.

I do love Final Cut Studio - but the last upgrade to it seems like Apple has switched their focus to their iGadget stuff - therefore I am wondering if the Adobe suite might be the better alternative.

Also, with so much emphasize placed on the iPhone, iPad, etc. they are shifting resources away from the Mac OS.

And the new machines that were released, as so many people pointed out, are really not that all that great of upgrade. They certainly are not "Pro" machines - more middle of the road - as Digital Skunk pointed out.

I love the OS, but I don't think it so far ahead anymore. I think MS did a great job with Windows 7.

And with an apparent war ahead with Adobe (even if you use FCS, you need AE), you might want to just stick with your PC.

As an aside - Plus, where the heck is Blu-Ray on the Mac?

K guys no need to fling poo.

if you feel that I am waste of your time don't post?

Because people here really do want to help prospective Mac buyers. But you didn't humbly ask for help. You arrogantly offered to allow the peons on this site to prove their worthiness. And that ticked people off. You put people in a bind by making them choose between their desire to help and your off-putting style.

Just some constructive criticism, since you wondered why people were so negative. I hope this helps you in other future situations.

Calling me arrogant because you didn't like my wording is far from constructive but whatever helps you sleep at night gramps ;)
... and you wonder why you get the reactions that you do? No one called you arrogant. He described your comments, not you. You're not going to last long in this forum with that attitude.

Mac doesn't have a "." key nor can you disable mouse acceleration :D

Seriously, pc and mac are both pretty nice. A mac can run more "apps" but you have many more options in size, shape, and speed with a pc.

Pc's have vga out, mac's have display port (?) or something.

Pc's have multiple mouse buttons, mac's can't decide whether the wrist or fingers move.

Pc's have a blinking hard drive light, macs do not. Mac's have a built in battery, pc's do not. Pc's have an eject button, macs do not. Macs have expose', pc's do not.

Lots of reason to go either way. ;)

Non-Apple laptops often have HDMI or Displayport outputs nowadays...

I think the problem here is the tone of the op that Mac owners somehow need to convince people they need a Mac in their lives. As it has been said here and elsewhere many times, if you need someone to convince you to buy something then you probably don't need or want it.

Yeah. This goes both ways too. Lots of Mac users feel the need to convince their PC-lovin' friends to switch over. It's a preference, folks, not a lifestyle, and there's no right or wrong answer.
