As a web designer, one of my pet hates is the way that Mac and Windows read HTML differently. I have to preview any page I code on my old PC before I proceed. This is a tedious process as I have to upload my page, preview it on the PC, then change any errors and repeat the process until perfect.

I was wondering if there was a app out there that enables you to preview pages using windows rules..

I know its a long shot, but it would make my life so much easier!

You mean Internet Explorer and Safari, don't you? Or, are you saying that the Windows version of Firefox renders HTML differently than the Mac version? and Opera? and RealPlayer?

Well, using a virtualization program like VirtualPC on a PPC Mac or Parallels on an Intel Mac, you could install Windows and the browsers you want to test in the virtualized environment.

This is really the only way to do it. The bugs in any browser are as important as the way they are intended to behave, and the only way to get all the bugs is to run the real thing.
