AVG Anti-virus now it is full of spy-ware and is installing crazy Yahoo Tool bars,

Is there anything free out there today for Win XP that is legit?

AVG you suck and sold your sole to Yahoo!

By the way Download.com sucks too--they deceptively try to send you a different sight for $$$

Microsoft Security Essentials works pretty well. It's free, doesn't install any extra junk, and doesn't eat up your processor. It also works fairly well as an antiwhatever.

Okay thank you. I am sick of anti-virus, being a virus itself.

I use it on my Windows 7 machine, and it has been good. I'm not a MS shill; I just like the free product. I think they should include it with Windows, but I guess they don't want to annoy the antivirus software companies.
