Hello,

I received my Mac Pro and I discovered a strange BUG. I called apple about that but they don't know how to solve this.

I connected my 3 Raid towers and my monitor on thunderbolt ports from Vega II Duo :

On Vega N°1 -> thunderbolt to RAID tower N°1
On Vega N°1 -> Thunderbolt Display port to my 2k screen
On Vega N°2 -> thunderbolt to RAID tower N°2
On Vega N°2 -> thunderbolt to RAID tower N°3

I took care to connect each of them on an independent thunderbolt BUS.

If I connect my material like that the Group B exceeds 100% and impossible to change the automatic configuration to force to use the Group A (the selection box stays greyed out).

So I changed my connection like that :

On Vega N°1 -> Thunderbolt Display port to my 2k screen
On Vega N°2 -> thunderbolt to RAID tower N°1
On thunderbolt from Mac I/O card -> thunderbolt to RAID tower N°2
On thunderbolt from Mac I/O card -> thunderbolt to RAID tower N°3

And the Group B stays at 100%. Cool ! but...

...Even if Group B stays at 100% the PCI indicator says that "PCI cards aren't arranged in optimal configuration". AND more strange, even if I disconnect everything from the MAC the message is the same. I didn't add any PCI cards inside the Mac Pro, this is the configuration from Apple.

And at Apple... they don't know. Some of you have the same issue ?

Best

Robin
