PCI Extreme!

Are there any users of this wonderfull little hack? I still have my Power Mac G3 B&W with a Radeon 7000 around for another week. It's STILL running 10.4.3 so I decided to try it out. It's well worth the hack. I rarely notice slow down and I'm using a PCI Wireless card at the same time. It's a great way to get a few more years out of your G3 if you get a Radeon or flash a PCI Nvidia card.

Has anyone gotten it to work with 10.4.4 or later?

I used to have a B&W G3 once upon a time. I used this hack and it worked well, although every now and then a system update would disable it and I'd have to redo it.

This was back when Panther was hot stuff.

I'm just going to stick with 10.4.3. I love my PCI Extreme and it works without a problem.

The readme mentioned some video playback slow downs but VLC and Democracy Player are now even smoother. It might only be tied to the OS X DVD Player though.
