I have a proprietary application that prints output using hardcoded PCL-codes, which thus requires a PCL-capable printer.
However, PCL printers seem to be going out of style, and I would like to be able to print to ink printers as well by using some sort of printer driver that converts the PCL data it receives to "whatever-is-standard-in-OSX" before shooting it off to the printer queue.

There is a similar product JetPCL available under Windows, but I have found nothing similar on Mac.

Anyone? Any insight greatly appreciated!

There's an old PCL viewer called GhostPCLX for PCL similar to GhostScript for PostScript.
