PDF Batch Change

Is there a way to batch change a bunch of PDF files within a folder to read such as PDF-1, PDF-2, PDF-3, etc, etc?

I have to do it one by one and with several hundreds to do I figured I would ask some experts here to help save me many hours.

I have the basic Adobe Reader, the free version that you download from their website.

I want to do like you can in iPhoto, select all the pics or in this case all the PDF files and assign a name like Work Presentation and then have all of the PDF files be named as Work Presentation -1, Work Presentation-2, Work Presentation-3...and so on automatically instead of having to rename each file seperately.

I have hundreds of files and to name them individually would take hours.

Name Mangler is great for batch renaming of any files.

Name Mangler is much better than Automator. I've found that Automator doesn't preserve the order of the files you give it from the finder.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that app. I just used it for sorting through bus schedules, quite handy for that.
