Some days ago it was on sale 29 in their page and it was available online a coupon code giving 50% off. So I bought it for 14€ and I'm sooo happy with that program.
I have it on iPad too and it's the best iPad app for use with Apple Pencil

"PDF Expert for Mac license allows you to install and use the app on up to three MacOS devices - they don't have to run the same Apple ID. Simply install a free trial version from our website, copy your license number and paste it to PDF Expert > Licenses section."

Thanks, @BasicGreatGuy! Did you buy your license from MacWorld? Do you know if buying the license from MacWorld also allows you to use the app on three MacOS devices that aren’t running the same Apple ID?

Interestingly, I was able to get in touch with someone at Readdle who said that if you buy PDF Expert for Mac from the Mac App Store, then you can use it on three Macs or even more, as long as they are under the same Apple ID.

Is there any difference between buying it from the Appstore or directly from Readdle or Macworld in terms of how m any computers you can use it on and syncing between iPhone and Mac using iCloud?
Does it have to be Appstore version for the iCloud sync to work

As far as I know, there is no difference between the two.

I asked Readdle if there is a difference between the App Store edition and the one in their website and they told me that it is exactly the same. There is different version number but it's just a technicality That has to do with the slow Apple process in the App Store

In the IOS version indeed you need to purchase the in app in order to edit pdf

For the Mac version, you can still find it discounted here: https://www.colormango.com/product/pdf-expert-for-mac_150757.html

Thanks for the heads up guys. Just bought PDF Expert.

I have been looking for some PDF app for basic editing of PDFs but didn’t want to pay $500 or $15/month for Adobe as I don’t need it THAT often. Just occasionally. I had tried one Mac app that got decent reviews, but I didn’t like it at all.

This one looks awesome so far!
