OK I have CS3 but really do not need to use Acrobat Pro to view PDF's. Whenever i try and open a PDF that is a link on a webpage, I get a message that Acrobat Pro Cannot be opened without another suite component being opened first. So i open Photoshop but still get the same message.

Any suggestions on how to set Preview as my default PDF opener. It has to be

Try this:

Save a PDF on to your Desktop, then select it.

Get Info > Open With > select Preview > click Change All
